Welcome to my January blog and a happy New Year to one and all. Now all the festive cheer has subsided and we are back to our “normal” way of life, hopefully we can concentrate on the year ahead.
I personally don’t make New Year resolutions as I am useless at keeping to them but I do like the feeling of ‘out with old in with the new’ or just simply finding new things to write about or read.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who rocked up to the Xmas Tongue and Cheek poetry event in Hertford – we had a lovely spoken word evening at The Hertford Club and will possibly do another later this year.
There is another spoken word event on 31 January, 7pm at the Southern Maltings in Ware (free entry!) so I will post a link for tickets and hopefully see you there.
I will be performing some poems and lots of witty banter at the event. I hope you all have a great start to the year and if you want to get writing, there is no time better than this!
